Hello! ..... and Welcome to my web site!

The intention is that this should be a basic, no frills, Family History website, which concentrates mainly on my maternal family, the JESS, ANDERSON & HAZLE/HAZLE families of Maybole, Ayrshire, Scotland.

My Williamson family has its origins in Caithness, in the north east of Scotland. Information will appear on this page in due course.

My wife's maiden name is Bradley and we have traced her descendency back to one of the Edwards families of Llanymynech, Wales.

Like many others, this family believe they have a claim to the so called "Edwards Million's" in Manhattan, U.S.A, courtesy of
Robert Edwards, born in 1714. Or at least they did, but I suspect views have changed somewhat with the passing of time.

It's a wonderful story though, but even if the claim has substance it is doubtful now that it will ever be successful. Researching the family has had its interesting moments though. For further information please select the BRADLEY link.
